WOUNDS ARE HEALING IN KUŞADASI

Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel inspected the Kadinlar Denizi and Camiatik neighborhoods, where minor damage occurred after the heavy rain last week. Mayor Ömer Günel, who also visited the citizens whose houses were damaged, said, "We mobilized all our resources to meet all the needs of our fellow citizens and heal their wounds."

The downpour, which started around 18:00 on Friday, October 15 in Kuşadası, was effective throughout the night. In the downpour, which increased in intensity with the wind, an average of 140 kilograms of rain fell per square meter in the city. While there were no major problems in the city center and main arteries thanks to the infrastructure and superstructure renovation works carried out by Kuşadası Municipality throughout the district, some houses were flooded due to the rain continuing until midnight.

HE VISITED CITIZENS WHOSE HOMES WERE DAMAGED

Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel inspected the Kadinlar Denizi and Camiatik neighborhoods, where minor disruptions were experienced during the heavy rain. During the field inspection, accompanied by the teams of the Directorate of Technical Affairs, Mayor Ömer Günel received information from the technical personnel about the renovation and repair works. Then, together with the Social Assistance Affairs Directorate officials, he visited 8 families living in the region whose houses were damaged.

RENOVATION WORKS BEGINNING IN TWO NEIGHBORHOODS

Stating that, as Kuşadası Municipality, they mobilized all means to heal the wounds, Mayor Ömer Günel said, “Last week, the heaviest downpour of recent years fell on Kuşadası. The downpour did not cause much negativity throughout the city, thanks to the infrastructure works we carried out in cooperation with Aydın Metropolitan Municipality. Unfortunately, some families' houses were damaged due to the rain. We mobilized all our resources to meet the needs of our fellow citizens and heal their wounds. We will start the infrastructure and superstructure renovation works of Hacıfeyzullah and Camiatik neighborhoods very soon. "When our work is completed, there will be no more problems in our two neighborhoods, as in Türkmen and İkiçeşmelik neighborhoods," he said.
